Administrative Building

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has a very well developed administrative building having sitting arrangement for scientists, technical and ministrial staff and training hall for organizing various training programmes with LCD projector having 50 person capacities at a time.

 

Soil and Water Testing Laboratory

 

Laboratory analyses the soil & water samples . Every soil sample is analyzed for six parameters such as pH, Electric Conductivity, Organic carbon, available nitrogen, available phosphorus, & available Potassium.

 

Vermicompost Unit

 

Vermicompost unit was established with financial support of zila parisad, Dholpur .This demonstrates the conversion of farm waste into enriched compost. . Eisenia foetida species of worms are reared so that the culture can be made available to farmers.

 

Azolla Unit

 

A Azolla unit was established at KVK for demonstration purpose and for imparting training to the farmers of the dholpur district and other adjoining states like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. They had visited Azolla unit during KVK visit under ATMA Scheme.

 

Harbal Garden Unit

 

The various meditional plant like Alovera, Aonla, Google , Jetropha, Tulsi and aeromatic plants Lemon grass, jama rosa and khus are grown in harbal garden. The farmers are visiting this garden during on campus training programme.

 

Horticulture Unit

 

The KVK have good quality orchard of Aonla, Ber & Guava .The plants are produced good quality fruits. The farmers visit the orchard during their KVK visit and during training programmes.

 

Shade Net House

 

The KVK has a shade net house of Size 15 X 30 m. Hybrid Vegetable Seedlings are raised for farmers. The farmers have visited the unit during their visit to KVK.
